2020 French Broad Vignerons Amateur Wine Competition

Wines will be judged blind on a weighted point system that considers the elements of appearance, aroma & bouquet, taste, finish, and overall quality. Tasting notes will also be provided to the winemaker. The judging will be supervised by American Wine Society (AWS) certified judges. Awards will be ribbons and bragging rights for the best wines and will be listed on our website.

The competition is open to any amateur produced wine from anywhere in the world.

The entry fee for the first 2 wines is free to paid up members of the French Broad Vignerons. Each wine after the first is $5/wine.
Non-members of the French Broad Vignerons is $25 and each subsequent bottle is $5.

Calendar year dues for the French Broad Vignerons is $25 so why not join now and get your first 2 wines entered free of charge?

Each submission must include either one (1) 750mL bottle or two (2) 375mL bottles and a completed entry form.

Wine classification codes are listed in the entry form information packet.

Bottles must not be sent to arrive prior to November 1st nor after November 30, 2020.
